Class Description
My asana class is a facilitated exploration of body awareness, breath awareness, and stillness in an accessible and invitational class structure.
We begin practice with a thorough mobilization of joints and activation of key deep muscles, and centering practices, progressing to sun salutations and a sequence of both gentle and vigorous standing and seated postures bringing attention to the coordination of breath, with particular focus on exploring sensation, understanding anatomy, and approaching one-pointed concentration. Class culminates with inversion options, pranayama preparation, and always practices of still-sitting and savassana.
I aim to guide a practice that creates comfort in the body, fluidity in breath, and a deeper experience of dynamic stillness.
EXPECT: a thorough warm-up, simple transitions, in-depth alignment cues, sustained postures, heat, sweat, and stretching, and time for observation of breath and subtle sensations

Student Testimonial
“Tasha creates a particularly safe space in which one can explore their yoga practice. She is clear and calm, and adapts series accordingly to make you feel comfortable and to receive the best out of the session. Despite being nervous about my yoga practice, I felt safe and secure in her session and able to relax as well as push my practice to engage on deeper levels than I had experienced before. Her physical knowledge is extraordinary, and her work with touch is incredibly useful and transformative.”
